2. The Kauppi Campus is bustling with rodents, fish, and flies – Animal testing hasn’t disappeared anywhere

Take a walk outside and you’ll see all kinds of birds and bees enjoying summer. However, in Kauppi there’s mice, rats and plenty of fish that won’t see the sun: they are test animals living in cages and aquariums. Journalist Otto Rantanen writes about the history, today, and future of animal testing in Tampere.

21-year-old Penelope participated an anti-government protest in Buenos Aires, the capital of Argentina in South America, and Visiiri’s Salla Rajala joined her. Frustrated by the political situation, the student says it is better to go on the streets than stay home on your phone.
